Returns Policy

If you're not happy with your order then return it!

We want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase from Dancemania but if for any reason you change your mind, decide you don't like the colour or want to order more than one style to choose from, be confident that you can easily return any unwanted items.

All we ask is that you adhere to our terms and conditions and return the item in the condition that you receive it, in its original packaging, with tags, unused, clean and free from odour, make up or deodorant within 21 days of purchase to:

Make sure you complete all sections including your order number and the reason why you are returning your order item. Failure to provide all of these details will result in a delay in processing your return.
We recommend that you obtain proof of posting. We cannot be held responsible for any packages that we do not receive.

Please note that we will only ever refund 2nd class return postage and only if there is a fault or an error on our part.

Exchanges can take up to 14 days to process. If you require an exchanged item for a specific date e.g. in time for Christmas we advise that you place a new order as we cannot guarantee that your exchange will be processed in time.
Refunds are normally processed within 14 days however during busy times please allow up to 28 days for your refund or exchange to be dealt with.

Christmas Gifts

Any purchase bought as a Christmas present after 31st October can be returned up to the end of the following January. The item must be returned in the condition that you received it, in its original packaging, with tags, unused, clean and free from odour, make up, deodorant or reindeer hair.

Free Exchanges

You may only exchange goods once for a different size or colour. We will send your exchange to you free of any additional postage charge. If you wish to exchange for a different item, make a further change of colour or size or wish to add items to your order you must place a new order and request a refund of your original item. By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions for exchanges you authorise any necessary extra payment to be taken from your account if your exchanged item costs more than your original item.

Free exchanges apply to UK orders only, all exchanges to be sent to an address outside of the UK will be charged the full postal cost for delivery of the exchanged item.


Exclusions

All sale items, personalised or made-to-order items are excluded from the returns policy so please check carefully before ordering.
As soon as you place an order for a personalised or made-to-order item you have entered into a contract to purchase that item. Therefore once you have submitted the order you cannot cancel or return the item either before or after dispatch.
A full charge will be made on goods that have been returned in a used or unsaleable condition (e.g. damaged packaging, torn, scuffed or dirty goods). A charge (minimum £3) will be made to replace any missing packaging or labeling upon return.

For reasons of hygiene we cannot accept returns on underwear or cosmetics.

We reserve the right to return to you (at your cost) any item returned to us after 21 days or not in compliance with the conditions above. If we do agree to refund any item returned after 21 days then a fee of up to 15% (minimum £2.50) will be deducted to cover bank charges to process the refund.

The cost of P&P will be deducted from refunds on returned goods that attracted a Free P&P offer upon ordering.

Any free or discounted items received as a result of an offer must also be returned or the full price paid if you return any goods such that the original offer no longer applies e.g. if you received a free bag for spending £40 on ballet wear and you return an item meaning your total spend on ballet wear is now below £40 you are required to either return the free bag or pay the full original price for the bag if you wish to keep it.

Error on Our Part

In the unlikely event that we make a mistake with your order you must inform us immediately. We will refund your return postage costs for 2nd class UK postage only. We will not refund anything above this cost regardless of the postal method you choose. We request that you obtain a free proof of posting certificate from the Post Office.
